The story goes that when Nirvana played on Top Of The Pops in 1991, the BBC's rules said that they had to play to recording and the only thing that could be live were Kurt Cobain's vocals. Nirvana didn't like that so. Kurt sang "Smells Like Teen Spirit" with his best Morrissey impression and they made funny of the whole thing. If You listen closely I believe Kurt actually opens with the words "Load Up On Drugs kill Your grandpa?" One thing for sure the band is not taking themselves seriously here.
