We seem to leave junk everywhere we go including the moon. We already already have a bunch of space junk floating around the planet. So why wouldn't we leave some stuff on the moon too. We have only been there a few times and have already left 809 objects there. Including human waste and money. Yes I do mean currency. The money break down is pretty astounding as well.
