Winchester Brewer Gives Fancy Clancy His Own Beer!

If you're not a diehard Orioles fans, you might not see too many familiar faces at Camden Yards these days.

Clancy Haskett, affectionately known as "Fancy Clancy" has been selling beers at Baltimore Orioles games for 45 years.

Fancy Clancy got his start at the tender age of 15 selling sodas at Memorial Stadium.

Art Major owner of Winchester's Escutcheon Brewing company has honored this Baltimore Icon with his very own beer producing a pilsner-style brew meant to be enjoyed at the ballpark. It has become so popular that Escutcheon is now selling cans of Fancy Clancy Pilsner for anywhere. I am hoping we see this at Saturday's Hop Blossom.

Clancy said: "As You get older, You think about what You've done in the past. After 45 years, this makes You feel appreciated-people are really giving me a little respect."

I have always had respect for You Clancy after all You have sold me a beer or two and maybe even a soda over the years. Thanks for always providing a great time at the ol' ball game. Well deserved my friend
