If you were looking forward to the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue being released next month, you’re going to have to wait -- because it won’t be on newsstands until May.
When Sports Illustrated launched the issue in 1964, they chose February because, back then, there was a gap in sports.
These days, that’s not true. There’s sports everywhere, all the time, non-stop.
So, they bumped the release date to May in order to match up the issue with the start of summer. (Sports Illustrated)
