The source of a gastrointestinal illness that's sickened thousands of people is still perplexing officials with the Food and Drug Administration. There is now a second outbreak with more than 70 new cases of cyclosporiasis. The cases were reported this week in Michigan and four other Midwest states. The illness is caused by parasites linked to food and water and causes nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. More than 300 people have been hospitalized in the first outbreak that has over seven thousand reported cases, which experts say is an underestimation since many did not report being sick. Taylor Farms is still under investigation as the source of the first outbreak.
