Leatherface lives! The 1974 horror classic "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" is being revisited in series form. An A24 adaptation is currently being written by "The Long Walk" screenwriter JT Moliner. Glen Powell is attached to the project, but according to "Deadline," only in the role as a producer through his Barnstorm production company. A movie is also in early development, according to reports. In a statement, Powell said, "'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' is one of my favorite films. It defined a generation of horror films and over half a century after its release, it remains one of the definitive movies of my home state. I’m honored to have Barnstorm help bring in a new chapter for such an iconic title and franchise." No word on where the series or the film will land at this point.
