A New "Heated Rivalry" Book May Be On The Way

With "Heated Rivalry" becoming a huge hit for HBO Max, fans believe they have discovered more source material is on the way. The hit show about hockey players hooking up is based on two books in the "Game Changers" series by author Rachel Reideagle-eyed fans noticed that the Barnes & Noble website had an entry for a new Reid book, "Unrivaled," which may be released this September and would be the seventh book in the series. The synopsis, according to B&N's website: "A line has been drawn, and the hockey world is divided. For the first time in their professional hockey careers, Ilya Rozanov and Shane Hollander have nothing to hide. For more than a decade, they kept their love a secret, but now they’re out, married, and even playing on the same team. The support is incredible. Most of the time." The B&N leak is news, because, while Reid has teased that she’s working on a new book, nothing has yet been made official.
