It’s not even Thanksgiving yet, but children from toddlers to teenagers have been thinking about what they want for months and now they’re telling parents and Santa so they can start shopping. And those gift-buying budgets better be big because $800 iPhones are on a lot of those lists.
The most popular presents kids are asking for this year include toys and electronics, specifically Barbie dolls, Legos, the iPhone 17 and an Oura ring, according to a survey from Intuit Credit Karma.
- Older kids are also asking for tickets to entertainment events, like concerts and sporting events, a third of parents say.
- While the Labubu buzz may have cooled off a little, the dolls are still in demand, as 28% of parents expect their kid to ask for one this year.
