A scripted TV series based on the classic murder mystery board game “Clue” is in development. The hourlong show is still in the early days of production, and is reportedly being shopped around but getting some solid interest. The news comes just at Netflix has greenlit an unscripted “Clue” show. It is believed the scripted series would have a comedic tone, similar to the “Knives Out” franchise. The board game was previously adapted into a movie in 1985 starring Tim Curry, Christopher Lloyd, and more. A five-part limited series also ran in 2011 on The Hub, a joint venture between toy company Hasbro and Discovery Communications.
