A sequel to “A Minecraft Movie” is officially in the works. It’s not a huge surprise that the video game movie is getting a sequel. The first flick took in just below $958-million at the global box office and became a viral hit with teens going crazy for it in theaters, especially during the “chicken jockey” scene. Jack Black, Sebastian Hansen, Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks and Jennifer Coolidge starred in the first movie. The untitled sequel is set to hit theaters on July 23, 2027.
