Kellogg is planning to remove artificial dyes from its breakfast cereals over the next two-and-a-half years. The maker of cereals including Apple Jacks and Froot Loops is looking to “permanently remove toxic dyes” by the end of 2027. The move comes as U.S. food producers face pressure to phase out synthetic colors. Other companies, including General Mills, Kraft Heinz, and Nestle, have also set timelines to eliminate artificial dyes from their products.
