*LIST* The Weirdest Street Names In The Country

You may not think much about the name of your street, but chances are, you would if you lived on Farfrompoopen Road. Yes, that’s a real street name in Arkansas, and seeing that on correspondence is bound to catch someone’s attention. The thing is, it’s far from the only wacky street name in the U.S. and Realtor.com is revealing some of the fairly odd and unusual road names across the country.

  • Toad Suck Road in Conway, Arkansas - Toad Suck is actually a popular name for stuff around Conway. There’s also a Toad Suck Lane and Toad Suck Park, and of course, the annual Toad Suck Daze community arts, music and food festival.
  • Farfrompoopen Road in Fannie, Arkansas - This is a made up word for exactly what it sounds like, but where did it come from? The origin is unclear, but there have been plenty of jokes made about the fact the street might not have had any bathrooms.
  • Windy Butte Way in Las Vegas - While Butte is pronounced “byoot,” like “beautiful,” the name of this residential street still makes some snicker. There’s also a Windy Butte Ranch in Spring Mills, Pennsylvania and a Windy Butte retreat in Clancy, Montana, so it’s a popular name.
  • Tootin’ Hill Road in West Simsbury, Connecticut - How do you get to Tootin’ Hill School? Take Tootin’ Hill Road, of course.
  • Booger Hollow Road - This is a popular choice, as six states have used it. Booger Hollow Roads can be found in Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, California, Missouri and Louisiana.
  • Zzyzx [[Zizicks]] Road in Zzyzx, California - This name was made up by Curtis Howe Springer back in 1944, when he proclaimed it to be the last word alphabetically in the English language.
  • Haviture Way in Eagle Mountain, Utah - There are also Haviture Ways in Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, North Carolina and California.
  • Psycho Path in Traverse City, Michigan - Not to be confused with the Psycho Paths in Choctaw and Ellisville, Oklahoma; Sperry, Mississippi or Sidell, Arcadia and Lake Suzy, Florida.
  • My Way, Which Way, Right Way, That Way, Straight Way, and Same Way in Houston, Texas - The developers must have had a blast coming up with these punny names in the North Kingwood Forest neighborhood.
