The premiere date for "Dexter: Resurrection" has been set. The series will debut with two episodes July 11 via streaming and on demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers before its on-air debut Sunday, July 13 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Each remaining episode will drop weekly. Fans of the franchise may be wondering how the new series explains the fact that Dexter Morgan is still alive, after taking a bullet to the chest from his son in "Dexter: New Blood." The new series takes place weeks after Dexter (Michael C. Hall) is shot and left for dead; he awakens from a coma to find his son Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. He then sets out for New York City, determined to find him...but old friend Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with questions, making things dicey.
