Rockport, Massachusetts has been dealing with broken car windshields and side mirrors for weeks now and a resident has discovered not who, but what the culprit is. Resident Janelle Favaloro was able to capture a photo of a woodpecker doing some damage. The bird is as large as a crow and has damaged at least 25 vehicles so far. Favaloro walked through her eyewitness account on “Today” saying, "The woodpecker showed up and landed on the windshield wipers of the RV in our yard and was looking at its reflection. And we were like, 'You know what, I bet he was the one that damaged the mirrors as well.'" An expert says it’s peak mating season and that is probably why the woodpecker is so aggressive.
