Handing Officer Joint During Traffic Stop Leads To Bigger Drug Bust

In Richland, Mississippi, 58-year-old Carl Dimino made things extremely easy for the police officer who pulled him over. After Dimino was stopped for a traffic violation, the officer on the scene reported catching a hearty whiff of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Not only did Dimino admit to the weed, but he handed the officer the joint. That would be what they call “probable cause,” and the vehicle search was on. In that search, police found…

  • 120 ecstasy pills
  • Over three pounds of “pure ecstasy” (or MDMA)
  • Around five pounds of psychedelic mushrooms
  • 12 vials of pure LSD
  • Close to a half pound of weed
  • Two digital scales

In all, cops say the seizure had a street value of around $200K.
