- Their research team analyzed Google Trends data between August 2023 and 2024 to find the favorite ones in each state.
- It turns out, there’s a clear winner and it’s … Disney Cruise Line. It’s the most popular in 29 states, far more than any other company.
- People love it for their family-friendly entertainment, top-tier service, and of course, those beloved Disney characters.
The Most Popular Cruise Lines in the U.S.
- Disney Cruise Line - It’s number one in 29 states, including California, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Utah and Maine.
- Carnival Cruise Line - It’s the most popular in 11 states, including Alamaba, Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas and North Carolina.
- Princess Cruises - Especially popular in the Pacific Northwest, it’s the favorite in five states: Washington, Oregon, Alaska, Nevada and Arizona.
- Virgin Voyages - This adults-only cruise line is still fairly new, but it’s the winner in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Georgia
- Celebrity Cruises - Florida and Rhode Island love this one the most.
- MSC Cruises - It’s number one in New York, where it launched year-round service in 2023.
