Linkin Park’s accolades keep building up, and now the band can add another one to the list. On Thursday (March 7), Rock Sound reported that “One More Light,” the title track from the band’s seventh and final album with Chester Bennington, has been certified Gold in the United States. To put it in perspective, that’s the equivalent of 500,000 units sold. Pretty impressive for a song that’s been out for less than two years!
Linkin Park released the song’s music video in September 2017, just months after Bennington took his own life. "One More Light was written with the intention of sending love to those who lost someone,” vocalist/guitarist Mike Shinoda wrote in the YouTube description. “We now find ourselves on the receiving end. In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated towards this song as their declaration of love and support for the band and the memory of our dear friend, Chester. We are so very grateful and can’t wait to see you again."

Back in November, the band celebrated another feat when the music video for its 2003 hit, “Numb,” surpassed a billion views on YouTube. The video currently has over 1.1 billion views, and counting.
