Florence Halts A 43 Year Tradition In The Valley

Florence ruins another event in the Shenandoah Valley. We can't blame the Apple Harvest Festival For Cancelling this time.

The Shenandoah Valley Apple Harvest Festival is in it’s 43rd year. In the entire festival history, the event has always been held “Rain or Shine.”

But this year is the exception. With Hurricane Florence looming, current flooding and expected high winds forecasted for this region, we have no choice but to cancel this year’s event.

We wish to thank our event sponsors, WHITE HOUSE/NATIONAL FRUIT, FIRST BANK and Q102 for their generosity.
