AAA says new trends indicate most people have left already. Some as early as Wednesday or Thursday that's a nice long weekend. If You haven't left yet it's okay they say leaving after 9 PM Friday. Saturday before 8Am or after 6Pm works best. Start heading home Sunday before 8Am seems crazy to me but that's what they suggest. Midnight on Monday sounds better to me. Most of these recommendations are for crossing the Bay Bridge and being beach bound. If You do travel of course make sure Your vehicle is ready for it tires, coolant, oil and emergency travel kit.
