I personally have never been a big fan of the beach and here is one of the reason why. Besides that the fact that once You get around the trees in the mountains it is much cooler. Of course bears and other animals might become a concern. Nasty rip currents in this case almost took seven members of a family from Edinburg. Thanks to the efforts of lifeguards and fire and rescue disaster was averted. Once again proof that nature has total disregard for our safety and well being.
