A Case Of Rabies Confirmed In Shenandoah Co. Va.

The Lord Fairfax Health District which covers the northern Shenandoah valley confirmed a black cat had rabies over the weekend. Three people in Maurertown were attacked by the cat on Friday. The cat was caught and tested confirming it had rabies. If You were scratched, bitten or even licked by the animal You are advised to go to the nearest emergency room.
