The FBI is reportedly investigating whether a Jackson Browne concert scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, is a terror target.
The concern comes after the FBI was called to investigate banners with racial epithets found Sunday hanging outside of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Lafayette, Indiana. One of the banners specifically names Jackson Browne.
"Jackson Browne. N***er. F**. S***k lover," reads one banner.
"Die F***er. Janury 23rd. Orlando just like Los Vegas [sic]," reads one banner.
Browne is performing at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando on January 23.

The Journal & Courier reports that the banners appeared the morning after the church hosted an event called the Resistance Fair, which was an event tied to the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
The church's pastor, Rev. Charlie Davis, told the J&C that he felt threatened by the banners, but was unsure of the significance of January 23rd, since the church has no events planned for that date.
The banners seem to reference the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando in June of 2016 in which a terrorist killed 49 people and injured 58 more after opening fire in a crowded nightclub and/or the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting in Las Vegas, in which 58 people were killed and 851 others were injured.
West Lafayette Police Chief Jason Dombkowski told J&C that the department was investigating along with the FBI.
"This will not be tolerated in our community," Chief Dombkowski said.
The town's mayor, John Dennis, was not so buttoned-up with his response, “I’m so f------ mad," he told the publication.
This isn't the first time Jackson Browne, specifically, has been threatened in West Lafayette, IN.
In May, police received complaints about fliers found in the town that apparently threatened Browne and other supposed "p***y college liberal's [sic]."
