For the first time in NFL history a quarterback has been given the franchise tag for the second year in a row. Now Kirk Cousins will be a Washington Redskin for the 2017 season at least. Because he and the team have not been able to come to an agreement before the March 1st deadline the Redskins give him the tag for the second year in a row.
