Hard To Watch But Amazing To See

I have never seen anything like this! BackPorch Productions back in 2004 got this Incredible video. I had no idea that a Praying Mantis would or could do something like this. Thank goodness someone interrupted the insect before it consumed the bird. Praying Mantises are some of my favorite insects because they look so cool.  They also eat lots of insects we don't want including stink bugs but I didn't realize how tough they are. I did have one attack me once when it flew onto my shirt one night. I tried to brush him away but he hung on tight and struck an attack mode and was ready to defend itself. I picked him off my shirt and he flew away finally, it was neat to see.
