High Winds Could Ground The Balloons

We may not see balloons fly during the Thanksgiving day parade this year because of high winds. We remember 1997 when high winds took out Barney the dinosaur and the Cat In The Hat caused some damage. Here's hoping the balloons can take off but better safe than sorry. I am reminded of Pink Floyd's Pig floating away and being found on a farm in Kent the first time in 1976 or '77. Then again in 2008 only to be found days later torn apart across the yards of two California families home. Click here for the report on the first time the pig got loose.
