One of my best friends Joe Pasquali was one of the brave men who was asked to help. He rarely spoke of it but once told me one of the best reenactments of the invasion was in Saving Private Ryan. He told where that was close the actual event was far more intense. I just couldn't imagine. We owe Joe and all the others who did this incredible thing a debt we could never repay. I thank and salute all the men and women on this day saving us from a fate that could have been disastrous.
