At one point there were over 9,000 stores in the United States alone. However with the closure of the Australian Blockbuster store that leaves us with only one store in the world. The last one is in Bend Oregon and it's doing Great and might even do better now that it's a tourist destination. Yeah it seems people come from all over the world letteraly to check out the last Blockbuster anywhere in the world. Store owner Shandi Harding says thanks to loyal customers and the new visitation of tourist the store may do even better than ever. It's largely because the store can offer more titles and especially older titles that are just not available elsewhere. CNN reports on the phenomania at this link.
