The Federal Trade Commission and 20 states have sued discount retailer Dollar General. In the suit, it’s alleged that Dollar General “has routinely charged customers higher prices than listed on price tags or in advertisements for years.” In a statement, Dollar General denied the allegations and said they have a goal of “100% accuracy between shelf and register prices at every store,” though “occasional discrepancies can occur.”
