The Cape Wildlife Center in Massachusetts has a special guest staying with them…a rare two headed turtle.The diamondback terrapin hatchling was brought to its facility by the Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. The Center posted about the hatchling on social media saying “Talk about a double take!! Our veterinary team will be closely monitoring the little terrapin as we learn more about how their two heads and bodies work together.” This is only the third two headed turtle the experts have seen in over five years.
