Well it wasn't really an Alligator it is actually a Caiman. Police didn't really stumble upon it they confiscated it from a Congress Heights home. The resident called it a housepet and law enforcement had a real tough time wrestling with it. They are currently looking for an organization that might be willing to take care of it.
