An Ohio youth was playing near a creek in Ohio and stumbled upon a significant historic find. What looked like a jagged rock to Jackson Hepner turned out to be the tooth of either a Woolly Mammoth or Mastodon. Fortunately Jackson's Father and Uncle are something of nature enthusiasts and were able to jump on line to quickly discover what it actually was. This thing is almost 8 inches long and very jagged. Couldn't imagine it clamping down on someone or something. CNN reports on the story at this link. Goes to show You that what lies under Your feet or in Your own backyard can be astounding.
