Tonight we have clouds so once again we miss what could be a nice show. However at this link Space.com explains what is up and a way to view it from Your computer. A 45 mile wide asteroid is expected to cross the path of Regulus one of the brightest stars in our night sky. It is near Leo but the star will only "blink" for maybe 14 seconds or even less. The massive asteroid is 163 Erigone and the effect is going to be visible to the naked eye all up and down the east coast the show should be between 1:45 AM and 2 AM but it will be real quick.
