The queens of 70’s and 80’s rock are coheadlining “Kiss the Sky! The Orca Freedom Concert,” a charity event to take place in Seattle on April 22.

Jett and the Wilson sisters have publicly voiced their opposition to holding orca whales in captivity and are now performing for a concert that will benefit the Center for Whale Research, OrcaLab, and the International Marine Mammal Project of Earth Island Institute.

The headliners are part of the larger movement of awareness that has resulted from the “Blackfish” documentary. They are also among the long list of musicians who have refused to perform at SeaWorld.

Additional performances from Country Joe McDonald, Arielle and Andrew Morse are in the lineup for the Kiss the Sky concert, which will be held at the EMP Museum’s “Sky Church.”

Tickets sales started today on the EMP Museum's website.
